Our Approach

Each module is run over a two or three day period (depending on the Credit Value) comprising of a Friday & Saturday of one weekend, and then a further Saturday usually two weeks later. This enables students to combine their own study with the taught sessions. We now also offer a remote belended approach or a combination – contact us for details

We find that this allows students some flexibility as the Friday and Saturday courses mean that not all of the weekend is taken up, which is good for the student, but also the fact that only two workdays are involved per module (the Friday of the workshop and the exam day) is good for the employer.

This also means that employers are not losing their staff for large chunks of the working week as with some courses. The other benefit is there is no requirement to turn up regularly for between 10 and 30 weeks of study (depending on provider) which is sometimes impossible for students to commit to as buying increasingly involves supplier visits, meetings and periods of travel overseas.

There are also no night classes (not popular on dark winter nights).
In terms of staff, we only use tutors with proven track records of excellent teaching and a high exam pass rate.
In terms of venue, Wyboston Lakes is a fantastic learning environment which enables students to focus on their own learning. The Centre also provides facilities that are in line with a top training venue including unlimited refreshments, excellent food, Free Wi-Fi and free leisure facilities. The Centre also has full disabled access. In order to further enhance the learning environment we will keep the groups relatively small (under 12 people).

Our fee also includes the exam fee (1 entry per module) and also a copy of the relevant study guide for the module as well as directed pre-reading from the tutors and tutorial support (via email).

We think this offers an ideal solution which balances the taught elements with supported home study at a very competitive price.
